granny week 7 and "this too shall pass"

i love the name of this granny square a lot "african somalia flower", i am reminded of my time in boston, when there was a somali community just around the corner. when ever we hopped on the T there were veiled women in the cars too. those bright smiling faces like these squares, very intrinsic and beautiful. i loved to try some different yarns/wools with this one, and got nice distinct looks for both. i like the wool one a bit better, it's tighter and feels more filled at the end.
as of this week i have not taken the time to work some additional squares, though i did loads of laundry mid week as we detected some "lovely" little critters in our hair... the lice got hold of the girls in our family. i'm getting tired of this, as it is already the third time in the past 6 months.
i hope for betterment in this regard, as school is out within two weeks, as i expect this to be the source of the infestation. i know there is worse to be plagued by, never the less it's a pain in the neck having to wash all the cloth and bed sheets and coats and cardigans and putt all non washables in the freezer for two days... yes but even "this too shall pass"
