orange and the woolwinding

first of all the clivia is in bloom, i love it, three stems with orange flowers, a wonderful gift sitting right there in our living room and telling me that spring will be coming. as well as thinking of my sister and her family, traveling in new zealand, where the flower is growing in the wild.
and then, i finally got to wind all the gorgeous wool i bought last fall, it's cascade 220 and i will knit a cardigan for naomi. it has been on my mind for a while now and i really love the libby pattern. now it's up to me to get to work. we did already decide to make the sleeves not too long, so the freedom loving all the time warm feeling girl will not be sweating a storm with the cardigan on. and it will not be "uncomfortable at the wrist" when riding the bike or scooter...

i found the pattern on leslie's blog, a friend to knit and yes now and then i stop and read and enjoy it at her place. every time it's inspirational and some nice photos to look at too.
